This position is a full-time, non-management role based at The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel. The hourly pay rate for this role is $17.90, and it is tip eligible, providing an additional opportunity to enhance earnings. The role involves completing important closing duties such as storing reusable goods, breaking down supplies, cleaning equipment and work areas, restocking items, and securing the premises. The successful candidate will also be responsible for setting up and maintaining workstations, ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of all service items before use, and adhering to the company’s clean-as-you-go standards throughout the shift. A critical part of the job is to follow all company safety and security policies, report any unsafe conditions or incidents, and complete necessary safety training. Maintaining a professional uniform and personal appearance, safeguarding confidential information, and contributing to a safe and supportive workplace environment are key responsibilities.

Job Requirements

- No prior related work experience required

- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods

Job Duties
- Complete closing duties including storing reusable goods and breaking down supplies
- Clean all equipment and areas thoroughly
- Return equipment to proper locations and secure refrigerators
- Restock items and turn off lights
- Lock doors and complete daily cleaning checklist
- Set up stock and maintain work areas
- Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver before use
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas using clean-as-you-go procedures
- Follow all company safety and security policies and report incidents
- Ensure professional uniform and personal appearance
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
- Support team goals and listen to concerns of other employees
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds safely
- Complete other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
