Job Requirements

- Prior experience in a laboratory or R&D environment

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Forms
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with food or beverage product development preferred
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as analytical balances, pipettors, and pH meters preferred
- Basic understanding of lab testing methods and data analysis preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare food and beverage samples including measuring, mixing, heating, cooling, filling, labeling, and storage
- Perform dilutions using pipettors and maintain accurate records in lab management systems
- Coordinate shipment of samples as needed
- Prepare and track samples for shelf-life testing including weighing, mixing, labeling, and dilution
- Document and submit test results and requests
- Maintain inventory and monitor sample conditions
- Track and manage ingredients and chemicals including disposal logging
- Order lab supplies and maintain proper storage of materials
- Purchase market samples when required
- Assist with onsite pilot plant trials including mixing, labeling, packing, and shipping samples
- Conduct analytical testing such as pH, titratable acidity, Brix, density, and colorimetry
- Lift materials between 5-50 lbs as needed
- Support early morning trials when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment
- Perform routine calibration of equipment such as balances
- Manage maintenance requests, inventory tracking, and safety checks
- Update material and product specifications
- Coordinate cross-functional approvals and follow-ups
- Verify product labeling details such as nutrition facts, ingredients, and packaging information
- Accurately input and manage large datasets in Excel
- Perform basic calculations including averages, unit conversions, and formulation scaling
- Provide summarized data insights
