Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience in distribution, logistics, or related fields
- Experience managing union and/or hourly workforces
- Proficiency with workforce management scheduling and reporting tools
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team-building abilities
- Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 facility
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate ground service equipment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in ramp operations, distribution, logistics or a related field
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- In-depth knowledge of aviation safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate ground service equipment
Job Duties
- Oversees daily ramp operations, including loading and unloading of catering equipment and supplies
- Manages ramp personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensures compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA, FAA, and TSA guidelines
- Conducts regular safety inspections and training sessions
- Coordinates with flight operations and catering teams to ensure timely and accurate loading of aircraft
- Monitors and optimizes ramp efficiency, including equipment utilization and workflow
- Resolves operational issues and problems in a timely and effective manner
