The current opportunity is for Ramp Agents to join NextGen GHS’s dynamic and expanding team. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft on the ground. Ramp Agents play a crucial role in loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail; guiding aircraft safely on the ramp; and performing various support tasks such as weighing and stacking cargo, safeguarding materials, and reviewing cargo documentation. The position offers AM and PM shifts with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour, with additional hours and shifts available upon request. Job Duties
- Load, unload, service, guide, and direct aircraft
- receive and record air freight, mail and company materials
- handle all aspects of loading, stowing and unloading baggage, cargo, airmail and air freight
- pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft
- warehouse, weigh, stack, pick up and deliver air cargo
- safeguard baggage, air cargo and air mail
- review cargo forms for accuracy
