Job Description

We operate a dynamic and fast-paced Production Bakery that may function up to seven days a week, supporting both day and night shifts to meet production demands. The role of Production Bakery Combination Team Member is vital within our bakery operations. This position requires a fearless and accountable individual who is positive, passionate, and ready to contribute to various aspects of bakery production and packaging. As a key member of the Production Bakery team, you will assist bakers and decorators in producing high-quality bakery products while also ensuring the maintenance of stringent cleaning and sanitation standards, essential for safe food production. The position typically involves working eight-hour shifts, five days a week, with the potential for weekends, offering a structured yet flexible schedule.

In this role, team members will engage in varied tasks including assisting with bakery product production, packaging, cleaning, and sanitation activities. Both day and night shift duties are integral, such as supporting bakers and machine operators during production and performing thorough cleaning of equipment and production areas to uphold health and safety standards. The ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing priorities is crucial for success. Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to receive direction and perform duties
  • Flexibility in changing work priorities and ability to act in a responsive manner to requests
  • Ability to communicate effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously within established timelines
  • Ability to work with a team or independently in an accurate and timely manner
  • Employment contingent upon passing a drug screening test and passing a pre-employment physical ability test, consistent with the physical demands of the job

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to follow directions and perform tasks accurately and timely
  • Positive and accountable attitude
  • Experience in a food production or bakery environment is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Assist bakers and decorators in the production and packaging of bakery products
  • Perform tasks necessary to maintain the Production Bakery's current cleaning and sanitation standards
  • Perform various assigned tasks to assist Bakers, Machine Operators, and Decorators as well as performing some clean up duties (day shift)
  • Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment, pans, and the production bakery facility (night shift)
  • Assist in packaging of bakery products (night shift)
  • May be required to perform additional duties, as assigned
