The Radiology Scheduler/Receptionist role at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, part of the RWJBarnabas Health network, plays a critical function within the Radiology Support Services department. This full-time hourly position, with a salary range of $19.75 to $23.75 per hour, is designed to ensure efficient and patient-focused scheduling and administrative support. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday during day shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, contributing significantly to the patient experience and operational flow within the radiology department. This position involves scheduling radiology appointments, verifying insurance, handling reception duties, and managing patient check-in and check-out processes. The role requires the ability to operate various computer systems efficiently and collaborate with clinical staff to maintain smooth departmental operations. The scheduler/receptionist acts as a liaison between patients and clinical teams, ensuring communication is clear and the patient journey through radiology services is positive and well-coordinated.
