Job Description

Troesh Medical Center is a renowned healthcare facility committed to delivering exceptional medical services with a focus on patient-centered care and healing. As part of their main campus, the center offers a comprehensive range of medical treatments and diagnostic services, staffed by dedicated professionals who prioritize the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of every patient. The center fosters a nurturing environment that supports healing and recovery, supported by advanced medical technology and a compassionate approach to care.

The role of Radiologic Technologist 2 at Troesh Medical Center is a specialized position that plays a critical part in diagnostic imaging services. This full-time, evening shift position involves administering radiographic and fluoroscopic ionizing radiation to patients according to strict clinical protocols. The role requires the technologist to prepare patients, equipment, and necessary supplies prior to examinations, ensuring that each procedure is carried out efficiently and safely. Beyond the technical skills, this role demands a compassionate and patient-focused demeanor, as the technologist is tasked with providing personalized care that supports the healing process physically, mentally, and spiritually.

In this capacity, the Radiologic Technologist 2 will perform routine and advanced fluoroscopy exams and quality assurance checks on equipment to maintain the highest standards of safety and imaging quality. The position also includes an educational component, where the technologist will instruct and train clinical students, contributing to the development of future radiologic professionals. This is a dynamic role that necessitates excellent interpersonal communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate's Degree and have completed an ARRT-approved educational program in Radiography, bringing at least one year of relevant experience, though this is preferred rather than mandatory. Licensure and certifications necessary for this role include a California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license, an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association, and a California Fluoroscopy Permit.

This position offers an opportunity to work in an environment that values patient safety, professional growth, and teamwork. The technologist will be expected to demonstrate high attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and the capacity to manage multiple assignments effectively. Proficiency in the use of computer software and radiology equipment is essential, as is the ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and professionally. Working in the Troesh Medical Center’s main campus presents a fulfilling career path within a leading medical institution dedicated to healing and excellence in care.
