Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology
  • Completed ARRT-approved educational program in Radiography
  • One year of related experience preferred
  • California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • California Fluoroscopy Permit
  • Ability to read, write legibly and speak English professionally
  • Proficiency with computers and radiology software
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
  • Ability to distinguish colors and adequate vision to perform job duties
  • Adequate hearing for communication and patient care
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology
  • ARRT certification in Radiography
  • Valid California CRT license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • California Fluoroscopy Permit
  • Experience in radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
  • Ability to train clinical students
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent patient identification skills
  • Proficiency in operating advanced radiology equipment

Job Duties

  • Provide compassionate patient-centered radiologic care
  • Administer radiographic and fluoroscopic ionizing radiation
  • Prepare patients and equipment prior to exams
  • Perform routine x-rays and advanced fluoroscopy exams
  • Conduct quality assurance and fluoroscopy equipment checks
  • Instruct and train clinical students
  • Maintain accurate patient records and exam documentation
