Within this dynamic setting, the position of Tennis Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing the tennis experience for both guests and club members. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and management of court reservations, lessons, and clinics, ensuring timely communication and seamless operations. This role demands a strong knowledge of all tennis programs offered by the resort and the ability to promote related events effectively. Coordination with members and guests for game matching will also be a key focus, helping to foster community engagement and enjoyment of the sport. Additionally, the Tennis Coordinator will be tasked with managing lesson and court fee billing as well as handling retail sales related to tennis merchandise, contributing to the revenue streams of the resort.

Reporting directly to the Director of Racquet Sports, the Tennis Coordinator will maintain regular contact with club members, resort guests, meeting planners, and vendors, ensuring a high level of customer service and collaboration. The position is ideally suited for a team player with strong interpersonal skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Experience within a resort or country club setting is highly desirable, along with a good working knowledge of tennis to better understand the nuances of the programs and customer needs.

This role also requires physical stamina and the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs occasionally, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It involves standing, walking, reaching, handling, and effective communication skills.
