The role of a Front Desk Agent at the Nugget is pivotal to maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellent customer service and operational efficiency. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-year previous hotel front desk or rack clerk experience
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs
- Fine finger manipulation skills
- Work environment may include exposure to smoke, variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels
- Work performed indoors and outdoors during special events
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-year previous hotel front desk or rack clerk experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties
- Handle heavy phone calls including billing questions and guest inquiries in a timely manner to guest satisfaction
- Assist agents by answering and training on questions and issues during the shift
- Complete daily checklists including expected arrivals, over credit, VIP report, out of order rooms, status updates, and applied deposits of online travel agency reservations
- Assign group rooms and suites in advance and coordinate with housekeeping
- Balance room inventory
- Communicate with front desk team, sales and conventions, housekeeping, bell, valet, and engineering regarding incoming and in-house needs for groups and individuals
- Perform business center duties including managing ticket sales, guest mail, and shipping and receiving packages
