As a Cook at Evolution Hospitality, you will be a crucial part of the culinary team, responsible for preparing and supervising food operations across multiple dining outlets. These include the main restaurant, café, room service, the employee cafeteria, and banquet events. This role requires a culinary expert who can manage the kitchen efficiently while ensuring that every dish meets rigorous standards for quality, taste, presentation, and portion control. You will lead kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment that motivates everyone to perform at their best even during high-pressure situations. Your proactive attitude will be essential as you anticipate operational challenges and solve problems swiftly to maintain smooth kitchen workflows.

Your role extends beyond cooking to include clear and professional communication with coworkers and guests, upholding sanitation and safety standards to keep the kitchen clean and organized, and managing time effectively to ensure prompt food preparation and delivery. Job Requirements

  • at least 1 year of experience or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field
  • food handlers certification required must comply with state requirements
  • able to work effectively under pressure maintaining composure while quickly evaluating situations and determining the best course of action
  • a strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests and effectively conveys ideas and solutions
