The Food Service Crew Member role aboard the Queen Mary is a guest-facing position that plays a pivotal part in delivering memorable culinary experiences in this iconic setting. As a Food Service Crew Member, you will be responsible for high-quality food preparation and assembly, including making sandwiches, pizzas, and other menu items with precision and consistency. This role involves not only crafting food with attention to detail but also ensuring that all food preparation aligns with established food safety standards. You will be integral to daily operational flow by preparing and organizing ingredients, efficiently utilizing the point-of-sale system to accurately process guest orders and transactions, and maintaining a clean, sanitary, and well-stocked service environment.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 6 months of relevant food and beverage customer service experience
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • commitment to maintaining high food safety and cleanliness standards
  • reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 6 months of food and beverage customer service experience including cash handling
  • previous barista experience is a major plus
  • friendly, customer-centric attitude with strong communication skills
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
