The Quality Technician role at AKG is a critical position responsible for ensuring product compliance and supporting continuous improvement in quality inspection processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in CMM programming, Faro Arm operation, and laboratory testing, combined with a solid understanding of blueprint interpretation and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles. This full-time position operates during the working hours of 7 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday, and offers a hands-on role within a manufacturing setting. As a Quality Technician, you will be performing complex dimensional inspections, contamination testing, and metrology programming to maintain high standards of product quality. You will be expected to use precision inspection tools, collaborate with engineers and production teams, and contribute to problem-solving and quality assurance initiatives. This role also includes responsibilities such as equipment calibration, documentation, generating inspection reports, and supporting prototype inspections.
