Currently, Zachry Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Quality Control Multi-Discipline Inspector for new construction work. This role is pivotal to maintaining the high standards of quality control that Zachry Group upholds across its projects. The position involves assisting management in establishing project requirements for selecting the proper procedures and techniques necessary for effective quality control. The inspector will engage in training and testing craft personnel to ensure adherence to the proper techniques and procedures mandated by the project specifications. They will perform visual inspections throughout the construction site, verifying that all materials and workmanship conform strictly to project specifications and governing codes. A core responsibility of the role is to accurately record inspection and test results using approved forms, checklists, or media that comply with the project's Inspection Test Plan (ITP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
The Industrial Quality Control Multi-Discipline Inspector may be assigned duties within a specific discipline or division, depending on project requirements. The role demands a strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to interpret project documentation effectively. Candidates should have a current Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and Zachry’s core values. The physical demands of the job require the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, lift up to 50 pounds, and work at heights or in confined spaces under various weather conditions while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job Duties
- Review project requirements, determine minimal requirements and procedures, schedule and coordinate required examinations, inspections, or tests for the discipline or project segment assigned to
- Perform examinations, inspections, or tests as required by project management and/or client/owner
- Coordinate training, craft testing and/or train personnel regarding required construction procedures and proper use of tools, instruments, etc
- Provide technical assistance to project management in selecting optimum construction procedures and/or techniques to meet project specifications
- Provide technical assistance to project management regarding the selection of tools, instruments, and test equipment to assist in the project quality control effort
- Assist project management in selection and/or testing of personnel to perform specific work activities to assist in ensuring work meets project requirements
- Schedule examinations, inspections, or tests as required by the project
- Coordinate examination, inspection, and test plans with project management and client representatives
- Complete and maintain inspection, test, examination, and Quality Control Records
- Assure implementation of job site quality control program
