Job Description

PakTech is a leading manufacturer specializing in the production of high-quality packaging and plastic products designed to meet the rigorous demands of its customers across various industries. With a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, PakTech employs advanced manufacturing processes and state-of-the-art quality assurance protocols to ensure that every product leaving their facility adheres to stringent standards. The company has built a reputation for reliability, innovation, and excellence, making it a trusted partner for clients who expect precision and consistency in every delivered item.

The role of a Quality Assurance Inspector at PakTech is crucial to maintaining the integrity of the production process and ensuring that all products meet not just the company’s internal quality benchmarks but also the specific requirements set forth by customers. This position is integral to the continuous improvement of product quality and operational efficiencies. The primary focus is on monitoring, inspecting, and verifying product specifications at various stages of production to prevent defects and ensure compliance with established quality standards.

In this position, you will be responsible for verifying that all parts produced meet the detailed Inspection Plan criteria and other specified customer and PakTech quality requirements. The role involves collecting and documenting critical data related to the production process, such as mold base information, cycle counts, UPC and labeler details, label adhesion and placement, material lot numbers, and more. You will perform part dimensional analysis utilizing specialized equipment like QVI machines and SPC software to measure parts accurately and ensure conformance to control characteristics.

Additional duties include conducting random 100 percent box inspections to verify product standards, identifying and segregating non-conforming products, initiating Nonconformance Reports, and coordinating with the Material Review Board (MRB) for disposition. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date information on job travelers during shifts, oversee sample product and bin availability within the Quality Assurance lab, and support production and inspection staff by troubleshooting and resolving quality-related issues.

The position demands strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to ensure clear recording and interpretation of manufacturing data and quality standards. A proactive approach to housekeeping and lab maintenance is also vital to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. While supervisory responsibilities are not part of this role, collaboration with other team members and departments is key to achieving production goals.

This role is an ideal opportunity for candidates who are passionate about quality control, have a keen eye for detail, and are eager to contribute to a company that values precision, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. Employment type and compensation details would typically be discussed during the hiring process, allowing for alignment with candidate experience and qualifications. Overall, the Quality Assurance Inspector at PakTech plays a pivotal role in sustaining the high standards that define the company’s market success and customer loyalty.
