Job Description

United Aero Group (UAG) is a leading company specializing in advanced skin repair, cutting-edge strip replacement, and comprehensive repair development services for a diverse range of aircraft. With a strong commitment to excellence, UAG delivers superior craftsmanship on both metal and composite blades, ensuring that aircraft maintenance needs are serviced efficiently and to the highest standards. The company prides itself on its ability to minimize aircraft on ground (AOG) time by providing swift, high-quality repairs that enhance operational availability and reduce downtime. UAG's dedication to customer convenience is reflected in its ability to conduct efficient field repairs and maintain industry-leading turnaround times, positioning itself as a trusted partner in the aerospace sector.

UAG is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector III to join their dynamic team. This position is a full-time role based in person at company facilities, and offers a competitive salary aligned with the candidate's experience and skills, complemented by a robust benefits package including 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, and paid time off. The Quality Inspector III functions as a senior technical expert within the Repair Station, playing a pivotal role in maintaining quality assurance standards, regulatory compliance, and leading critical quality initiatives.

The successful candidate will bring at least 3 to 5 years of aviation or industrial inspection experience, preferably with a solid understanding of AS9100 or ISO quality systems and FAA 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station regulations. As a senior member of the quality team, the Quality Inspector III is responsible for conducting advanced inspections, spearheading root-cause investigations, and supporting comprehensive quality audits. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, sound professional judgment, and the capability to make independent decisions that uphold UAG's rigorous quality standards.

In addition to their technical responsibilities, the Quality Inspector III will serve as a mentor to junior inspectors, fostering skill development in inspection techniques, quality documentation, and compliance with industry standards. This role also involves coordination with customers, corporate quality teams, and regulatory bodies to effectively address and resolve quality issues, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and regulatory adherence. The individual must be proficient in using various quality management tools, including Excel and database systems, and able to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.

UAG values employees who demonstrate a strong technical background in composites, repair processes, and inspection methodologies, alongside proven experience in root cause analysis, corrective action, safety management systems (SMS), and change management. Physical capability to perform moderate physical activity such as lifting up to 70 lbs, standing or walking for extended periods, and working in typical shop-floor environments with exposure to dust, fumes, and noise is essential.

As an ITAR-compliant supplier, United Aero Group requires all candidates to meet U.S. citizenship or equivalent status requirements and the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings before employment. This role represents an exciting opportunity for a committed aerospace professional to contribute to a leading enterprise that prioritizes innovation, quality, and customer-centric solutions in the aviation maintenance industry.
