Job Description

Wurth Industry North America is a leading distributor of industrial products and supply chain solutions known for delivering proactive, customized services tailored to the specific needs of various industries. With a commitment to quality, innovative inventory management, and comprehensive program support from design to ongoing analysis, Wurth serves as a trusted partner in keeping production lines running smoothly. Wurth's reputation for prompt and personal attention positions it as a company dedicated not only to customer satisfaction but also to fostering continuous improvement within the industries it serves. The company offers an inclusive and supportive work environment, emphasizing equal opportunity employment and providing valuable employee benefits such as comprehensive health coverage, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement, reinforcing its commitment to employee well-being and career development.

The Quality Inspector role at Wurth is critical in maintaining the high standard of products that the company delivers. This full-time position, operating Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, focuses on conducting detailed and precise inspections of OEM-distributed components. The inspector ensures that all incoming, in-process, and outgoing products conform strictly to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards consistent with ISO 9001 and AS9120 certifications. The role requires the use of a variety of mechanical measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges, coupled with an analytical eye to identify trends and potential risks to maintain product integrity.

The Quality Inspector is also responsible for accurate documentation within internal systems to ensure traceability and compliance, supporting internal audits, supplier assessments, and ongoing quality system reviews. By generating non-conformance reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role actively contributes to root cause analysis and the development of corrective and preventive actions, ensuring continuous quality improvement. The position demands a keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/QMS systems vital for effective data management. Beyond quality control functions, the inspector maintains the calibration and upkeep of inspection tools and upholds a clean and safe working environment that promotes efficient, accurate work processes. This role is ideal for individuals with a minimum of two years’ experience in a quality inspection or control environment, preferably within OEM distribution or industrial sectors, seeking to make a tangible impact on product quality and customer satisfaction within a globally recognized and customer-focused organization.
