ATI is currently seeking a Self-Release Quality Inspector (DQR) to join their Cudahy, Wisconsin location. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the Quality Management System by performing certified self-release inspections of products prior to shipment. The DQR will work alongside cross-functional teams including sales, shipping, manufacturing, and production to ensure all products meet stringent quality standards and customer requirements. This position offers a demanding yet rewarding career path for professionals passionate about quality assurance and continuous product improvement. The DQR will be responsible for reviewing process and customer documents, coordinating inspection activities, and ensuring all relevant paperwork and products are reviewed and approved before release.

This role requires strong knowledge of metallurgical concepts, blueprint interpretation, and quality system standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100. Candidates are expected to be skilled in using measurement tools and able to interpret complex inspection data reports. Communication skills and attention to detail are paramount, as the DQR will collaborate closely with multiple departments and maintain documentation required for quality compliance. Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Inspection
  • 1+ year experience in a manufacturing setting
  • experience with ISO9001
  • experience performing internal quality system and product audits
  • corrective action/root cause analysis experience
  • experience as an OEM certified release agent
  • DPRV (SAE AS13001) certification
  • ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • competency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
  • excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
  • detail orientated
  • strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
  • familiarity with AS9100 and quality system requirements including audits
  • ability to work with minimal supervision and in team settings
  • ability to prioritize workload and manage time
  • ability to keep documentation and records organized per customer requirements

Job Duties

  • Review process documents to determine product/process conformance
