Job Description

Sytech is a manufacturing company dedicated to delivering top-quality products through stringent quality assurance processes and continuous improvement methodologies. Known for its commitment to excellence and innovation in the metal fabrication industry, Sytech operates in a fast-paced environment where quality, safety, and teamwork stand as core pillars of the business. The company cultivates a culture that values respect, professionalism, and accountability among its employees, which greatly contributes to its ongoing success and reputation in the market. Sytech's adherence to industry standards such as ISO 9001 ensures that it maintains internationally recognized benchmarks for quality management and customer satisfaction. Dedicated to both internal and external customer needs, Sytech emphasizes efficient workflow, lean manufacturing, and high productivity, all while maintaining a strong focus on employee safety and well-being.

Join Sytech as a Quality Inspector, where your precision and dedication will be integral to maintaining and enhancing the company’s outstanding product standards. In this full-time, non-exempt role, you will work closely with a team of Quality Inspectors and the Quality Manager to conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products, ensuring they meet rigorous quality criteria aligned with technical drawings and industry benchmarks. The position requires flexibility, as overtime and Saturday shifts may be necessary based on business demands.

As a Quality Inspector at Sytech, you will not only perform hands-on inspections using advanced tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges but also engage in data analysis to track quality trends and identify recurring issues. Your expertise will extend to employing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including DMAIC, to pinpoint and implement process improvements. Participating in and potentially leading Kaizen events will enable you to contribute actively to waste reduction and process enhancement efforts.

Additionally, your role involves championing the 5S methodology, fostering an organized and efficient workplace that supports sustainable quality improvements. You'll also support internal and external quality audits, helping the company maintain compliance with standards like ISO 9001. Your responsibilities will include developing and updating inspection criteria, collaborating cross-functionally to address non-conformities through root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Sytech values the proactive involvement of its employees in creating a positive work culture defined by high performance and continuous growth. You can expect a professional work environment where safety is paramount and teamwork is encouraged to meet on-time quality goals. Compensation for this role ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance with premium sharing, a 401(k) plan with company match, life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays.

Joining Sytech as a Quality Inspector means becoming part of a forward-thinking company committed to quality excellence and team success. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment while contributing significantly to the company’s operational and quality performance.
