Job Description
Delta Precision Components and its divisions, Delta Gear and Delta Research, are recognized leaders in the manufacturing of precision gear products tailored for the aerospace and automotive industries. As an AS9100 and ISO9001 registered facility, Delta Precision Components demonstrates a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in all aspects of its manufacturing processes. Additionally, the company is NADCAP approved for non-destructive testing, including Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Nital Etch, which underscores its adherence to rigorous industry standards and practices.
This role as a Quality Inspector is an integral part of Delta’s dedication to producing superior quality products. The successful candidate will be entrusted with a variety of quality and technical tasks that require an in-depth understanding of manufacturing procedures. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to ensure that every product meets the specified standards and regulatory requirements.
The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing thorough inspections of products, employing a range of precision measurement instruments such as coordinate measuring machines, micrometers, and calipers. These tools are essential in confirming that dimensions and tolerances align with exact specifications. Furthermore, the role involves conducting quality audits focused on assessing adherence to quality management systems and protocols designed to maintain consistency and compliance throughout the production cycle.
In addition to inspection duties, the Quality Inspector will collect and analyze data to pinpoint trends, uncover potential quality issues, and recommend corrective actions where necessary. This analytical component of the job is vital for continuous improvement and operational excellence. To succeed in this role, the candidate must have a sound grasp of quality systems, management principles, and control techniques.
Collaboration is key in this position, as the Quality Inspector will work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality concerns. Effective communication skills are essential, as the ability to clearly articulate findings and recommend solutions to team members and stakeholders is a critical aspect of driving quality enhancements. Adherence to established standard operating procedures and protocols ensures that quality assurance processes are uniformly applied, supporting the company’s overall mission to deliver products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Delta Precision Components clearly states that it does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role. Prospective applicants who require such sponsorship, either now or in the future, are advised not to apply. This includes sponsorship types such as H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, and J-1, among others.
This position offers individuals an opportunity to grow their expertise within a reputed manufacturing facility deeply embedded in aerospace and automotive sectors. It promises an engaging work environment characterized by precision, quality, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The Quality Inspector role offers a chance to contribute meaningfully to a high-performing team dedicated to manufacturing excellence, making it an ideal career opportunity for those with the requisite skills and passion for quality management.
