Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment
  • familiarity with plastic injection molding processes
  • ability to interpret blueprints or part drawings
  • proficiency with precision measuring instruments
  • strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work 2nd shift hours Monday through Friday

Job Qualifications

  • Plastic injection molding experience preferred
  • 3+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing
  • ability to read and interpret blueprints or part drawings
  • proficient with precision measuring equipment
  • strong documentation skills and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Conduct and document inspection results in accordance with specified sampling plans, procedures, and work instructions
  • perform receiving inspections on supplied products, resins, and component parts used in production or assembly
  • conduct first piece, in-process, and final inspections on all products and assemblies manufactured by EPP
  • perform special testing as required by internal work instructions or customer specifications
  • verify product, materials, and components conform to requirements through visual inspection, gauges, and metrology devices
  • ensure gauges and measuring equipment are calibrated and in proper working condition prior to use
  • accurately record inspection and test data
  • apply statistical methods where applicable
  • set up and perform destructive and non-destructive testing on materials, parts, and finished products
  • identify nonconforming product and properly stamp, tag, or mark approval or rejection status
