Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree preferred
One to two years of college or equivalent trade/specialized training
3-5 years of related industry experience focused on roads, highways, and bridges
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, lift 50-90 pounds frequently
Ability to work in outdoor environments with noise, dust and near heavy equipment
Experience working in construction or similar physical work environment
Flexibility to work nights and weekends
Ability to maintain constant alertness to construction site activities

Job Qualifications

Level I and Level II FDOT roadway certification
3-5 years of field and plant experience in quality control testing of asphalt and aggregates
High school diploma or GED preferred
Strong math and communication skills
Ability to understand work instructions and collaborate with job site supervisors and staff
