  • Willingness to work variable shifts based on scheduled pours, including day and overnight shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Concrete Management, Construction Management, or related field is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in quality control, quality assurance, or construction materials is a plus but is not required
  • ACI certification or willingness to obtain it is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished ready mix concrete using industry-standard methods
  • Interpret test results and compare them to established specifications and control limits
  • Conduct visual inspections of concrete products to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues
  • Deliver quality control training to production staff as directed by management or technical services
  • Maintain accurate records of tests, analyses, and quality-related activities
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to help improve our quality control processes
