Renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation, Robar Enterprises has built a strong reputation in the construction industry by delivering superior materials that meet stringent industry standards. The company prides itself on its advanced testing facilities and dedicated team of professionals who ensure that every batch of concrete and every aggregate product complies with established specifications. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and environmental stewardship, Robar Enterprises fosters a collaborative work environment where employees are encouraged to grow and develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive setting. Joining Robar means becoming part of a team that values integrity, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement in all aspects of its operations.
The role of Quality Control Technician at Robar Enterprises is a crucial position designed for individuals passionate about ensuring the highest standards in construction materials. As a Quality Control Technician, you will work closely with the Quality Control Manager to optimize plant productivity and operational efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct consistent testing and evaluation of both concrete and aggregates to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements. This position requires an analytical mindset to interpret data accurately and identify any deviations that may affect product quality.
In this role, you will perform various tests including moisture content, slump, density, air content, and cylinder testing, along with gradation tests on rock and sand samples. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting cleanliness evaluations and sand equivalency tests in accordance with ASTM standards and local government regulations. Besides laboratory testing, your duties will also involve performing inspections and tests at job sites to monitor the quality of concrete pours. Efficient communication with outside inspectors and internal teams such as plant operators and drivers is essential to successfully manage quality control processes.
You will maintain detailed records by entering test results into databases and generating reports required for internal reviews and client documentation. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment is a priority, and you will ensure that your workspace and equipment meet all safety and operational standards. This role demands not only technical expertise but also physical capability, including frequent lifting and maneuvering within plant and job site settings. Robust interpersonal skills and a commitment to safety compliance through adherence to OSHA and MSHA regulations are mandatory.
Robar Enterprises offers a career opportunity that combines hands-on technical work with the chance to contribute significantly to the company’s mission of delivering top-tier construction materials. If you have a high school diploma or GED, with ACI certification being preferred and more than two years of relevant experience, you are encouraged to apply. This position requires flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime, which reflects the company’s dedication to meeting client demands efficiently. Embrace the opportunity to grow your career in quality control within a forward-thinking and supportive company environment at Robar Enterprises.
