Attention to detail and a thorough understanding of mix design characteristics for asphalt products are essential for success in this role. The position also demands physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions, involving standing, lifting heavy materials, and navigating uneven terrain.

This position typically requires 3-5 years of experience in field quality control work, along with a high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education and specialized training are advantageous. A valid driver’s license is necessary, and the candidate must be capable of independent problem-solving and managing multiple concurrent activities on construction sites safely and effectively.
