The Quality Control Specialist role at Lulus is a crucial position based out of their Ontario warehouse. This full-time, onsite position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, allowing the individual to work in a structured environment focused on ensuring the quality and accuracy of Lulus merchandise. The primary responsibility of the Quality Control Specialist is to assist the Quality Control team with measuring and thoroughly inspecting merchandise, which directly influences the quality that customers receive and the accuracy of product descriptions on the site.
In this role, the specialist is expected to uphold the company’s standards by maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the Lulus Vendor Contract and applying these guidelines meticulously during product inspection. Measuring and quality checking new and updated products plays a central part in the daily workflow, helping to prevent defects and discrepancies that could affect customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Quality Control Specialist supports vendor return coordination, working to ensure that any product issues are managed efficiently.
Collaboration is key in this role as the specialist works cross-functionally with departments such as Receiving, Buying, and Creative teams to address product issues and facilitate smooth operations. This team-based approach fosters communication and solution-focused strategies that contribute to the company’s overall operational excellence.
Furthermore, the Quality Control Specialist must also be adaptable and ready to take on additional assignments as directed by the Operations Supervisor. This flexibility is essential in achieving both departmental and company-wide business goals.
The working conditions include both indoor and outdoor environments where temperatures may vary, and exposure to noise is expected. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, and stooping, which requires a good level of physical fitness and endurance.

Job Requirements
- 1+ years of quality control experience in a warehouse or retail sales environment
- Excellent communication skills including written, oral and group facilitation
- Excellent knowledge of punctuation, grammar, and spelling
- Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, and managers at all times
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally
- Intermediate knowledge of Admin, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive
- Ability to apply logical thinking and sound judgment to a wide range of practical problems
- Ability to work independently and take initiative

Job Duties
- Maintain knowledge of standards outlined in the Lulus Vendor Contract
- Measure and quality check new and updated products in accordance with the Lulus vendor contract guidelines
- Assist in coordinating and preparing vendor returns
- Work cross functionally with the Receiving, Buying, and Creative teams on product issues
- Perform other assignments as requested by the Operations Supervisor to achieve department and company business goals
