The Quality Control Porter position at Lightning Wireless Solutions, Inc. is a full-time role designed for someone who is diligent, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities related to vehicle maintenance and quality assurance. This position is classified as a regular employee role with hourly non-exempt status, offering an hourly wage range of $20.00 to $23.00. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a consistent routine.

As a Quality Control Porter, you will be a vital part of the production and quality assurance process at Lightning Wireless Solutions. Your responsibilities include checking in vehicles, cleaning and washing them, performing routine quality inspections during production, and documenting your inspection results accurately to maintain detailed records. It is essential to identify potential quality issues early and communicate them to supervisors or management to ensure the highest standards are upheld. You will also be responsible for organizing the wash area and storage lot, keeping the lots clear of trash, and ensuring the premises are tidy and presentable.

Additional duties include assisting with shuttling vehicles as needed and supporting warehouse and shop managers. The position requires a person who can work both independently and as part of a team, exhibit strong organizational and communication skills, and have the physical stamina to lift objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Flexibility and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and rain, are also important for this role. A clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening are mandatory prerequisites.
