The company emphasizes education and transparency to empower families to take control of their wellness. With a strong commitment to integrity, all products are research-supported and produced in-house, ensuring top-notch quality and safety standards. Recognized as one of Columbus's "Fast 50" companies, Earthley continues to expand its reach by making natural health products more affordable and accessible.
The Quality Control Laboratory Technician at Earthley will be based onsite at the Ohio University Innovation Center laboratory, working part-time for 20-25 hours a week during normal Monday to Friday business hours. The schedule may flex depending on testing demands and workload within the laboratory. This role offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $22 to $26, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.
The technician will be a vital part of the Quality Assurance department, supporting the company's mission by ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards through accurate laboratory testing and documentation. This includes performing microbial tests using advanced systems like the Neogen Soleris, preparing laboratory samples and materials, monitoring product stability, and conducting pH and viscosity tests. The role also entails maintaining detailed and traceable laboratory records and collaborating closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to report findings and laboratory conditions.
Key objectives for this position are to establish and maintain reliable testing operations that uphold Earthley's quality protocols, generate complete and precise laboratory documentation, and support the lab's continual growth while ensuring adherence to quality and safety regulations. The technician will participate in general lab maintenance tasks, such as inventory management, equipment cleaning, calibration, and supply ordering, all while following strict safety and procedural guidelines.
This part-time role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute meaningfully to a fast-paced, wellness-focused team. Earthley provides a supportive environment with opportunities for cross-training and career growth. The company values teamwork, wellness, and the pursuit of excellence in all facets of their operation. With employee perks including discounts on products, a holistic healthcare access, paid time off, and a monthly allowance for free products, Earthley fosters a workplace culture that supports employee well-being and professional development. Joining Earthley means becoming part of a purpose-driven mission to change healthcare through natural, safe, and effective products.
