The role of QC Inspector for the 3rd shift at Noveon Magnetics is a crucial position within the production department, reporting directly to the Quality Engineer. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform visual and physical inspections accurately
  • Experience using testing equipment
  • Analytical skills for data interpretation
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain detailed records and documentation
  • Commitment to following workplace safety and quality policies
  • Ability to work third shift
  • Must pass drug screening and medical physical
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Comfortable standing for long periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements including sitting, squatting, and climbing stairs

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Performing visual and physical checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify defects or non-conformances
  • Utilizing various testing equipment to measure product parameters such as dimensions, weight, chemical composition, and functionality within specified tolerances
  • Recording inspection results and analyzing data trends using statistical process control (SPC) methods to identify potential quality issues
  • Regularly checking and calibrating measuring instruments to maintain accuracy and reliability
  • Maintaining detailed records of inspection findings, test results, and non-conformance reports and communicating issues to relevant personnel
  • Following established quality standards and work instructions to ensure consistency in quality checks
