Job Description

Harris Ranch Beef Company is a well-established, family-owned company located in the heart of California's San Joaquin Valley. Since its founding over 30 years ago, the company has maintained a strong tradition of producing high-quality beef that is recognized throughout the Western United States for its exceptional taste, consistency, and wholesome nature. Harris Ranch Beef Company is an industry leader that controls every aspect of beef production, from their feedlot operations to an innovative beef processing facility. This complete control allows them to guarantee the quality and safety of their products, ensuring customers enjoy only the finest grain-fed beef available. With a commitment to excellence, the company thrives on a fast-paced working environment that fosters dedication, reliability, and teamwork among its employees. In return, Harris Ranch offers an impressive array of competitive benefits designed to support both health and financial security for their workforce. These include comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans, weekly pay cycles, opportunities for career growth, a 401(k) retirement plan with up to a 3% company match, life insurance, paid vacation, and various forms of disability and critical illness insurance to safeguard employees in unforeseen circumstances.

Joining Harris Ranch Beef Company means becoming part of a family-oriented business with a history of innovation and quality in the meat production industry. Candidates will work shifts typically from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 7:55 AM to 4:25 PM, although these may vary according to production needs. The role requires physical endurance to perform repetitive tasks, sometimes in environments ranging from cold (around 40°F) to warmer temperatures (up to 80°F), and often involves lifting, pushing, or carrying heavier objects. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a basic understanding of quality systems and root cause analysis techniques, are important to succeed.
