The Quality Assurance Coordinator position is a temporary role based in Houston, TX with a competitive pay range of $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. This is a full-time day shift opportunity, running from 8 AM to 5 PM, and is scheduled for an immediate start with a 3-month duration. The primary focus of this position is to support the quality assurance processes by ensuring that all product documentation meets API and customer specifications. The coordinator will play a pivotal role in reviewing, compiling, and maintaining critical quality documentation, including material test reports (MTRs), inspection records, and final acceptance reports. This position involves a significant amount of coordination and communication with both the inspection team and production personnel to facilitate product shipment approvals.

Key responsibilities include managing documentation reviews for product releases, building and maintaining the quality files (both physical and electronic), entering mechanical testing data, and ensuring compliance with API’s 10-year documentation retention requirements. The role also entails using specialized software such as EFD and PIPE to manage quality data and ensure seamless collaboration across departments using tools such as SharePoint. Candidates with experience in coupling, threading, and the use of measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges will find their expertise well utilized in this function.
