This opportunity is located at the Southeast Business Unit, Market 06, at 5520 Highway 21, Savannah, Georgia. The position requires flexible shift availability, which supports Circle K’s aim to maintain smooth operations and excellent service at all hours. The Restaurant Manager Trainee role is designed to prepare the candidate for a full managerial position within the Circle K-operated restaurant setting. Over a training period not exceeding 90 days, the select individual will gain hands-on experience managing daily restaurant operations, including people management, operational oversight, and financial performance. Reporting directly to the Restaurant District Manager, the Restaurant Manager Trainee will be entrusted with partial or full responsibilities of the restaurant business, embodying Circle K’s mission and values throughout their work.

The role requires a strong focus on guest service excellence by coaching team members to deliver fast, friendly, and effective service. Recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding responsibilities fall under the trainee’s purview, ensuring the team is well-equipped and motivated. Maintaining a clean and safe restaurant environment is vital, alongside delegating shift duties and monitoring task completion. Essential operational duties include managing production systems, ensuring food safety and quality, controlling inventory accuracy, and handling administrative paperwork such as scheduling, cash, and inventory counts.

Moreover, the role involves ensuring compliance with health department regulations and all brand and company standards, maintaining communication through effective information cascading and updates via communication boards. The trainee will implement new brand campaigns and product trainings while monitoring financial and operational metrics to ensure the profitability of the restaurant. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 1 year experience in restaurant or retail management preferred
  • valid state driver’s license
  • flexible availability including weekends and holidays

  • physical ability to perform restaurant tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • willingness to undergo background check and drug screening

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner
