Its location at 1599 S Braddock Ave, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, exemplifies its dedication to serving local communities efficiently and with enthusiasm.
The role of Restaurant Assistant Manager at this Circle K location is a crucial leadership position that supports the Restaurant Manager with the daily operations of the restaurant. This full-time role demands flexible availability covering all hours of operation, including pre-opening and post-closing shifts. The Assistant Manager acts as the supervisor during the Manager's absence, guiding a team focused on delivering fast, friendly, and excellent guest service. In addition to managing the operational standards of the brand and company, the Assistant Manager ensures all food safety and quality regulations are followed meticulously.
The Assistant Manager coaches and leads the restaurant team, conducting secondary interviews for potential hires and shift leads to build a strong workforce. Maintaining a clean and safe restaurant environment is also a key responsibility, which involves assigning shift duties and ensuring tasks are completed effectively. This role involves diligent oversight of food preparation to follow health department regulations, product quality, and adherence to company standards.
Financial management is another critical aspect of the position. The Assistant Manager is responsible for monitoring cash, sales, and inventory control records throughout shifts, completing paperwork accurately, and addressing any discrepancies promptly. Administrative duties such as inventory counts, cash counts, truck orders, and other reporting are also performed, especially in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Safety protocols and legal compliance are rigorously upheld to create a secure environment for both team members and guests.
Circle K values individuals who embody the company’s core values: working as One Team, Doing the Right Thing, Taking Ownership, and Playing to Win. This position offers a competitive hiring salary ranging from $17.00 to $21.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of leadership within the restaurant’s operational success. Employees benefit from an array of advantages including unlimited tip pooling, comprehensive health plans, paid time off, matching 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and more, making it an attractive opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and team management. The company is an equal opportunity employer and supports accommodations for individuals with disabilities in compliance with the ADA and respective state and local regulations.
