This particular role is for a Restaurant Shift Lead based at the Circle K location at 3744 Wheeler Rd, Augusta, Georgia 30909. The position requires flexible availability to work varying shifts that meet the operational needs of the restaurant. As a Restaurant Shift Lead, you will be directly responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of team members during your shift. Your leadership will ensure the smooth running of the restaurant by maintaining Circle K’s brand standards, providing excellent guest service, and upholding health and safety regulations. This role involves multitasking in a fast-paced environment, overseeing food preparation, managing cash and inventory, and ensuring all team members perform their duties efficiently. The shift lead also plays an important part in fostering a positive workplace culture by coaching and motivating team members to adhere to the company’s core values such as One Team, Do the Right Thing, Takes Ownership, and Play to Win.

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner and coach team members to do the same
  • maintain a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties
  • assign shift duties to team members and follow up to ensure completion
  • direct team and ensure all food items are prepared and served in accordance with all Brand, Company, and health department regulations
  • coach team members to follow guidelines for food preparation and production management
  • ensure product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met
  • monitor and ensure accuracy of all cash, sales, and inventory control records during the shift
  • complete end of shift and end of day paperwork and counts as required
  • communicate any discrepancies to immediate supervisor
  • guarantee a safe environment for team members and guests by following all government laws and safety codes
  • complete reports on all incidents following company policy
