The role available is for Quality Control Technicians on the 1st and 2nd shifts, with competitive hourly wages ranging from $20 to $23, depending on experience. These positions are critical in ensuring that the company’s products meet both internal standards and external regulatory requirements. Quality Control Technicians will play an active role in auditing production lines, sanitation processes, and employee adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role also involves the collection of product samples for microbiological and analytical testing, helping to confirm product specifications such as pH levels, moisture, and weight.
Working as a Quality Control Technician requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic production environment. Additionally, candidates should be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production demands. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday, with the 1st shift starting at 3 am and the 2nd shift starting at 12 pm. Job Requirements
- Familiarity with Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), GMPs, SQF, BRC, or ISO standards
- Ability to use lab equipment interpret technical data and perform basic mathematics
- Strong attention to detail verbal/written communication and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Previous experience in food quality inspection
- Ability to work in office and cold manufacturing setting
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed

Job Duties
- Auditing production lines sanitation processes and employee adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Collecting raw in-process and finished product samples for microbiological and analytical lab testing to meet specifications
- Implementing Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans to identify and mitigate safety risks
- Maintaining detailed records of inspections tests and audits
- Assisting with data verification for food safety management systems
- Investigating quality deviations identifying root causes and initiating corrective/preventative actions
- Identifying and placing holds on nonconforming materials or finished goods to prevent contaminated or subpar products from leaving the facility
