The role of QC Technician at Michigan Paving and Materials in Kalamazoo, Michigan, is an exciting position that combines hands-on laboratory work with the rigor of safety and procedural compliance. As an integral member of the team's construction and materials operations division, the QC Technician will be responsible for supporting laboratory testing and analysis to maintain quality and operational standards. This full-time position demands a high level of professionalism, technical skill, and attention to detail, involving tasks such as preparing chemical solutions, building laboratory prototype models, performing routine analytical tests like spectrophotometry and titration, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Safety awareness is paramount in this role, as the QC Technician must adhere to personal protective equipment policies and be capable of efficiently handling and disposing of laboratory debris and waste.
