Since its formation in 2018, Meridian has expanded significantly through a series of strategic acquisitions, establishing itself as a leader in adhesive technology for a broad global customer base. This customer base includes original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), distributors, and industrial clients, all of whom benefit from Meridian's broad product offering and its expanding global footprint. Meridian is known for its commitment to innovation, quality, and customer service, which makes it a respected name in the adhesives industry worldwide.
Meridian is currently seeking a Quality Control (QC) Technician to join their team based in Las Vegas. This role is a second shift position working from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday through Friday. The QC Technician will play a critical part in ensuring product quality and compliance by testing manufactured batches and incoming raw materials, collecting and analyzing data, and maintaining accurate records. This full-time hourly position offers a competitive wage range of $21 to $24 per hour, with the actual pay depending on experience and skills. Additionally, Meridian provides an incentive plan for 2026 with bonuses related to safety, quality, and financial targets, offering eligible employees the chance to earn up to $1,520 per year.
The QC Technician role requires comprehensive attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficient communication abilities. The technician will be responsible for performing laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet all relevant specifications. Key job functions include preparing test samples, maintaining laboratory instruments, calibrating equipment, and complying with safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This position also involves extensive data entry, documentation, and reporting to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.
Meridian values quality and safety in every aspect of its operations; hence, the QC Technician must rigorously follow guidelines and help support the continuous improvement of quality testing methods. Collaboration with team members to resolve quality issues and participate in process improvement initiatives is an important part of the job. Additionally, the technician will handle stock pulls, rejects, re-inspections, and inspections of shipments to maintain product integrity and compliance.
This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within a company dedicated to advanced adhesive technologies. The company fosters an inclusive culture focused on safety, sustainability, respect, integrity, accountability, and teamwork. Employees are encouraged to contribute their ideas and grow professionally while shaping the future of the adhesives industry. Meridian provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans with company contributions, paid time off, parental leave, and more, supporting the well-being and development of its employees.
Joining Meridian means becoming part of an innovative industry leader that values diverse perspectives and bold ideas. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, adhering to federal employment laws and regulations to ensure a fair and supportive workplace. Prospective candidates looking for a challenging yet rewarding career in quality control within a thriving company will find this opportunity well-suited to their skills and aspirations.
