The company is currently seeking a Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join their team at their Plattsburgh location. This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive wage of $23 per hour. The QC Inspector plays a critical role in maintaining product quality aligned with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines. The role involves detailed inspection, quarantine, and release processes for incoming materials and finished goods to ensure compliance and high standards within the manufacturing process.

In this position, the QC Inspector participates actively in quality control activities such as inspection and sampling of incoming bulk materials, finished products, and various stages within the production line — including lab, label, and bulk inspections. The individual also handles the processing of returned goods and conducts in-house laboratory testing to verify product integrity and safety.

Additionally, the QC Inspector supports inventory control by managing label inventories for production use and maintaining retain and rejected goods logs. Documentation plays a vital part in this role, including the filing, organizing, and quality reviewing of various documents to maintain compliance and efficient record keeping.

Beyond these technical duties, the QC Inspector is involved in training other staff members as needed, fostering an environment of continuous learning and adherence to quality standards. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound decisions under regulatory frameworks that include FDA, DEA, and State Board regulations.
