Job Requirements

Preferred 2-3 years of laboratory or quality assurance experience in a food manufacturing environment
ability to work in an isolated location managed remotely with occasional visits
willingness to work shifts if necessary
preferred experience in scoring finished product
basic computer skills
background knowledge or experience in food science, nutrition, baking, or grain science
organized and disciplined
ability to follow up and address problems on time
self-motivated and responsible

Job Qualifications

Preferred 2-3 years of laboratory or quality assurance experience in food manufacturing
knowledge or experience in scoring finished products
basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook
background or education in food science, nutrition, baking, or grain science
organized and disciplined with strong ability to follow procedures and schedules
proactive and self-motivated
ability to follow up and address issues timely

Job Duties

Back-up to regional quality center technician
comply with all company policies including safety, code of ethics, and procedures
receive samples and store according to standards
follow scoring, analysis, and inspection programs
apply analysis and inspection procedures consistently
perform analysis throughout product shelf life
document results and observations
maintain world-class working conditions at regional center
support bakeries and corporate projects
provide feedback to management for program improvements
follow and apply training programs
