The Quality Inspector position at DwyerOmega is critical to upholding the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Inspector plays a pivotal role in maintaining stringent quality standards by conducting comprehensive inspections of incoming materials, in-process productions, and finished products. This role requires accurate documentation of inspection outcomes, ensuring traceability and compliance with production specifications and quality policies.
The key responsibilities include performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections; completing operation sheets with necessary stamps and dates; maintaining lot traceability; interpreting complex production schematics, blueprints, and specifications; and conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) for new or changed product assemblies. Inspectors are also responsible for administering prescribed inspection procedures, visual inspections of components, verifying mechanical and electrical tolerances, and keeping inspection equipment in proper working order. Additionally, the role involves mentoring and training other employees on quality assurance practices.
Safety and quality responsibilities are integral, with strict adherence to safe work practices, participation in safety training, and proactive engagement in identifying and resolving quality deficiencies. The inspector must communicate effectively in English and foster professional, collaborative relationships within teams and with external partners.
This is a full-time position offering an hourly wage ranging between $20.00 and $25.00, reflecting the company’s dedication to transparent and equitable pay practices. Job Requirements

Job Duties
