Job Description

Vector Airport Systems is a renowned international aviation software and services company known for its commitment to innovation and excellence. With a strong emphasis on visionary leadership and a positive team culture, Vector Airport Systems has established itself as a key player in delivering mission-critical solutions for airport operations around the world. The company specializes in aircraft tracking, revenue generation, and comprehensive SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of airport management across more than 150 locations globally. Their robust software platforms serve essential operational needs, ensuring airports can manage complex workflows and data seamlessly and reliably. The organization fosters a collaborative environment where hard work, creativity, and forward-thinking are not only encouraged but are central to their success.

As part of their growth strategy, Vector Airport Systems is looking to expand their engineering team by hiring an experienced QA Engineer. This role is pivotal to maintaining the high standards of quality and reliability that their clients expect. The QA Engineer will be tasked with overseeing the full spectrum of testing activities for the company’s diverse software products, which support global airport operations. This includes manual and exploratory testing of web applications, developing and maintaining automated test suites, and performing rigorous SQL-based validation of data pipelines that are critical to the business. The position demands an individual who is not only technically proficient but also passionate about quality assurance, with a keen eye for detecting issues that automated scripts might miss.

The QA Engineer will have direct involvement with technology and product teams, engaging early in the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to release management. They will help define clear acceptance criteria and ensure that software is thoroughly vetted before deployment. This role is hands-on and offers direct visibility into the full product suite, providing a unique opportunity to build and refine QA methodologies that will have a lasting impact on the company’s delivery processes. The successful candidate will be a dedicated professional who values quality in software products and is willing to advocate for the user’s experience and organizational quality standards at every stage of development.

Vector Airport Systems offers a supportive and dynamic work environment that values teamwork, initiative, and results over bureaucracy. Employees benefit from open-door leadership, a focus on work-life balance, and a culture that rewards dedication and hard work. As a remote position, this role provides flexibility alongside generous benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with matching contributions, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement, among others. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually, reflecting the importance of the role within the organization and the level of expertise required. The company is dedicated to equal employment opportunities, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace for all candidates and employees.
