The role available is for a Purchasing and Procurement Manager, positioned as a pivotal member of the supply chain department. This full-time, exempt position is based 100% onsite in Phoenix, AZ, and offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually. The Purchasing and Procurement Manager will oversee the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of essential materials including raw ingredients, packaging, and indirect supplies necessary for food production. The role demands a proactive and detail-oriented leader to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure that all purchased goods comply with rigorous food safety standards such as HACCP, SQF, FDA, and USDA regulations. This position also collaborates closely with research and development (R&D) and quality assurance teams to support new product sourcing and supplier approvals, ensuring the highest quality and regulatory compliance.

In addition to managing day-to-day purchasing operations, the Purchasing and Procurement Manager will play an instrumental role in inventory coordination, monitoring to avoid shortages or excess stock, and implementing cost-saving initiatives by tracking market trends and pricing fluctuations.
