The Purchasing Manager role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee all food and beverage procurement needs, warehouse management including receiving, distribution, and storage processes, as well as inventory control within our facility. This position requires strong forecasting, negotiation, and budget management skills, alongside the ability to lead and develop staff while strictly adhering to company policies and standards. Additionally, the role plays a significant part in managing payable processes to ensure purveyor partnerships are maintained and aligned with contractual agreements.

As Purchasing Manager, you will lead procurement efforts by enforcing purchase order policies, managing budgets, updating pricing communications, and promoting the use of preferred suppliers and manufacturers. You will oversee spend reports to ensure compliance with supplier adherence goals and evaluate sponsorship partnerships as they relate to procurement. Coordination of single-source management for multi-market providers and assisting with new account setups are also part of your responsibilities.

In warehouse management, you will coordinate best practices to guarantee safe receiving, storage, and distribution activities. Training and guiding staff to ensure accuracy and compliance in all warehouse operations will be essential, as well as analyzing purveyor delivery performance to optimize item selection.

Your responsibilities will extend to payables, where you will collaborate closely with the finance department to communicate and enforce the terms of contracts, review late invoice reports, and conduct monthly statement reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and timeliness.

Inventory control management is a critical focus area; you will drive inventory turn rate goals, manage month-end reporting processes, and support the handling of slow or dead stock through product returns and transfers. Continuous monitoring and comparison of inventory levels will facilitate risk-averse management strategies and operational improvements.

This role requires strong leadership as you will carry out supervisory duties in line with Legends Global policies and applicable laws, fostering a workplace that embodies professionalism and respect. We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $72,800, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401k plan. This position is based onsite at the Hawaii Convention Center, where you will be part of a dynamic environment that values innovation and service excellence.
