The current opening at EquipmentShare is for a Delivery Driver (Non CDL) role based in Yuma, AZ. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with eligibility for overtime after 40 hours of work per week. The role involves safely and efficiently delivering equipment, products, and materials to customers, ensuring timely and professional service at all times. Drivers work closely with the fleet and logistics teams using advanced technology that provides real-time updates on vehicle locations, delivery schedules, and work orders. This integration allows for efficient route management and enhanced service quality. In addition to driving responsibilities, the Delivery Driver assists in loading and unloading materials, manages transportation paperwork, and performs routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
  • Must pass DOT physical as trucks driven weigh over 10,000 pounds
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to travel frequently
  • Must be willing to comply with customer clean-shaven policy if applicable
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods
  • Must pass a 10-panel drug screen
  • Valid non-CDL driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
  • Transport loads safely and timely over required routes, obeying traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas following crew signals
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment when necessary
  • Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork
  • Facilitate routine vehicle service and report maintenance malfunctions
  • Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
