MV Transportation is currently seeking dedicated Drivers to join their team. These drivers will be tasked with safely operating transit vehicles, providing essential transportation services to the public. The role offers a generous starting wage of $17.18 per hour along with a $2,500 sign-on bonus paid over the first 180 days of employment, full medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits, and Sundays off, offering a balanced work-life schedule. Training is available for Airbrake and Passenger endorsements, allowing employees to develop their skills further while contributing to public safety and mobility.

As a Transit CDL Bus Driver at MV Transportation, your primary responsibilities will include picking up and dropping off passengers on time, conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for all riders. Job Duties

  • On-time passenger pick-up and delivery
  • The primary objective of the driver is providing safe, reliable, and efficient public transportation to all passengers
  • Ensure safe and clean vehicle condition at the start and end of each shift
  • Conducting pre and post trip inspections to ensure proper operating condition of vehicle and on-board equipment
  • Communicating effectively with dispatch or central office via two-way radio
  • Provide excellent customer service including but not limited to assisting in the boarding and de-boarding of passengers, supplying information, and responding appropriately in the event of emergency
  • Employing all defensive driving techniques to minimize risk
  • Focus on safety to reduce the opportunity for injury to self or other employees
