The Public Areas Attendant position plays a vital role in this mission by ensuring that all guests and residents enjoy a clean, welcoming, and orderly environment during their visit. The Public Areas Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of all public spaces both inside and outside the casino and resort facilities. This includes tasks such as cleaning tables, emptying ashtrays, maintaining restrooms, and ensuring pathways and common areas are free from trash or other debris. The position requires a diligent, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and understands how cleanliness impacts the overall guest experience. The ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment while maintaining professionalism is key to succeeding in this role.

Job Requirements
- CA Driver’s License in good standing
- 6 months cleaning experience
- high school diploma or G.E.D desirable
- housekeeping experience desirable
- working knowledge of cleaning chemicals
- ability to communicate effectively in the English language
- ability to read in the English language
- ability to stand and walk for up to ten hours at a time
- ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
- ability to reach, kneel and bend
- ability to appear for work on time
- ability to interact effectively with team members and guests
- ability to maintain professionalism and composure
- ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions
- ability to accept constructive criticism
- multi-lingual desirable

Job Duties
- Provides clean and orderly outside public areas by cleaning tables and surrounding areas, emptying ashtrays and trash receptacles, and keeping pathways free of trash and other debris
- provides clean and orderly environment by cleaning restrooms, mirrors, toilets, wiping shelves, refilling toilet paper, paper towels and other sundries, replacing trash liners, mopping floors, cleaning tables and chairs, vacuuming carpets, and disposing of boxes, trash and other debris as required
