The Public Area Attendant/Lobby Porter role at Grand Hyatt Denver plays a vital part in maintaining the visible standards of cleanliness and hospitality that define the guest experience. This role is responsible for ensuring that all public spaces within the hotel—including the lobby, public restrooms, meeting areas, and other common spaces—are clean, well-maintained, and welcoming to guests and staff alike. Candidates in this position must be able to engage guests positively, as the job involves significant interaction with hotel visitors, requiring excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Working as a Public Area Attendant is physically demanding and fast paced. The position requires extensive walking and the physical capability to lift, push, and carry moderate weights. The shift timing primarily includes afternoons starting at 3pm but requires flexibility to work morning shifts at 10am when needed, on any day of the week including weekends and holidays. This schedule requires adaptability and a strong work ethic.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
