This Housekeeping and Laundry role is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness and overall ambiance of The Westin, ensuring the hotel adheres to the highest standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction. The primary responsibilities involve cleaning public and employee restrooms and showers, cleaning glass surfaces, floors, and furniture, and maintaining overall cleanliness in public and employee areas using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment. The role also demands attention to detail in inspecting the condition of furniture for damages and promptly reporting issues for maintenance. A critical component of this position is the ability to respond promptly to guest and departmental requests and ensuring compliance with safety and security policies.

Job Qualifications
- No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required

- ability to reach overhead and below the knees
- excellent communication skills

Job Duties
- Clean public and employee restrooms and showers
- clean glass in public and employee areas
- clean floor surfaces in public or employee space using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment
- dust surfaces in assigned area
- empty trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns in public areas into proper containers
- inspect condition of furniture for tears, rips, and stains and report damages
- clean and maintain lights
