With a history of welcoming over 3 billion guests worldwide, Hilton continues to set new standards for the future of travel with its portfolio of world-class brands and a company-wide dedication to hospitality. This esteemed hotel chain prides itself not only on the quality of services it offers its guests but also on the opportunities and benefits it provides its employees, ensuring a thriving work environment where individuals can grow personally and professionally.
The Public Area Attendant role at Hilton is an integral part of maintaining the comfort and cleanliness that guests expect when they stay at one of their properties. This position goes beyond typical janitorial duties, embodying Hilton's core values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency. As a Public Area Attendant, you will be the visible face of Hilton's hospitality efforts, brightening guests' days by ensuring that the hotel’s public spaces such as restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and event areas remain immaculate and inviting. Your daily tasks include dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, washing windows, and handling trash efficiently, but the impact of your work touches every guest’s experience.
Furthermore, this role involves interacting directly with guests, greeting them warmly, assisting with inquiries, and promptly addressing service requests, which reinforces the company’s commitment to exceptional hospitality. The position also includes supporting housekeeping operations by assisting with guest room cleaning and special projects like deep cleaning tasks, including mattress flipping, furniture movement, and floor waxing. The work schedule for this role is Sunday through Thursday, from 5 pm to 10 pm, offering a structured workweek.
Hilton invests significantly in its Team Members, recognizing that their wellbeing and satisfaction translate directly into outstanding guest services. Employees enjoy a range of benefits, including deeply discounted travel opportunities, employee stock purchase programs, paid parental leave, personalized caregiving support, crisis concierge services, mental health resources, generous paid time off, comprehensive health and welfare plans, and retirement savings options. These benefits are designed to provide comprehensive support for Team Members and their families, contributing to a balanced work-life experience.
At Hilton, being part of the team means joining a culture that has been recognized repeatedly as a great workplace by Fortune and Great Place to Work. Whether you are starting your career or seeking new professional avenues, Hilton offers a robust platform to grow and succeed. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to memorable guest experiences while enjoying a rewarding career journey in a prestigious global hotel brand.
