About the Role: We are currently seeking a diligent and motivated Public Area Cleaner to join our housekeeping team. This role is crucial in maintaining the immaculate condition of all public-facing areas within our hotel. The successful candidate will contribute directly to enhancing guest satisfaction by ensuring cleanliness aligns with our high guest service standards and sustainability goals. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, a proactive approach to maintaining the environment, and a strong adherence to safety and chemical handling protocols.

As a Public Area Cleaner, you will be responsible for cleaning all hard and textile surfaces across public spaces, including restrooms, windows, doorways, furniture, floors, carpets, elevators, and waste receptacles. Your role is essential in upholding the aesthetic and hygiene standards that create an inviting atmosphere for our guests. Additionally, you will respond promptly and professionally to guest room requests, demonstrating our commitment to outstanding service.

Beyond manual cleaning tasks, this role involves the correct utilization of cleaning chemicals and adherence to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) to ensure safe handling and compliance with OSHA standards. You will be expected to follow procedures relevant to blood borne pathogen protection, wear protective safety equipment, and contribute to our sustainability efforts through the EarthView program. Your work will also extend to maintaining employee-only areas, including break rooms and restrooms, creating a clean and healthy environment for all staff members.
